Josh moved to Nashville in 2007 to lead worship at a small church plant. Soon after, Josh was signed to Centricity Music Publishing where he began to hone his songwriting craft. After 2 years, it was time to move on and Josh quickly signed with Word Publishing under the new leadership of Dale Matthews.

Josh has written and produced songs that have been placed on TV shows such as  “One Tree Hill” and the NBC network. Josh has also had cuts with artists Andy Kirk, Shannon Labrie, and David Dunn. Josh developed David Dunn as an artist since they were friends in college, leading David to be picked up by Tooth & Nail Records. Josh also wrote for and produced David’s debut album on Tooth & Nail.

Nationwide worship conference Acquire The Fire will also be featuring one of Josh’s songs “God Of Hope” on their upcoming worship album. “God of Hope” as garnered the attention of Worship Leader Magazine’s Song DISCovery and All About Worship’s Collective Album that resources worship leaders nationwide.

Josh has had the pleasure of working with American Idol finalist Danny Gokey, as well as having holds with such artists as Aaron Shust, Kari Jobe, Mandisa, and Kutless.
