Josh Melton

Ohio native, Josh Melton, began his musical journey at a young age when he would listen to the likes of Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra growing up with his dad. After high school Josh attended nursing school for a couple years before he made his move to Music City.

While working as a nurse’s assistant in Nashville, his first performing stages looked a little different than most. Melton would bring his guitar to work and play at the residents request. Through their encouragement and generosity, Josh was gifted an SUV from a patient while on their deathbed. However, the car came with one condition – he would use it to travel to real stages and play for more than just a retirement home audience.

While working on his debut album, Melton stayed busy penning for others as well. In 2023 Josh scored his first number one hit with Dylan Scott’s “Can’t Have Mine.”

As his reputation continues to grow, he’s worked his way into rooms with some of country music’s most notable songwriters and producers — Justin Ebach, Zach Abend, Matt Alderman, and Dallas Wilson just to name a few. He’s also had the chance to share the stage opening for acts such as Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Lauren Alaina, and more.
